#4 : WISE GUIDANCE & INSPIRATION EVENING – April 13, 2018
Loving Wise Ones speaking through Ruth Shilling at Judith Koehn’s Clover Hill Holistic Arts Center (CHHA) in Richmond, Virginia
April 13, 2018 – Channeling #202.

Highlights:
• Non-forgiveness inhibits our freedom.  It inhibits your ability to run with life.
• “Having forgiveness take place” vs. trying to make it make it happen.
• When you choose to take your sovereignty, you can choose that you want to be free.
• You choose, and then your mind finds out what you just chose and repeats it to yourself.
• Learning the difference between when this is coming from the core of yourself and when it is coming from ideas that you put together and then try to impose on that.
• The will needs to be ignited. Your focus will make that flame grow. The focus is your power.
• The choices that you make here now are broadcast throughout the largeness of who and what you truly are, for you are much more than this physical experience.

FORGIVENESS -2, PERSONAL SOVEREIGNTY & THE WILL

As adults, forgiveness is a very difficult one for most people. If you do not have that as a difficulty, you are one of the lucky ones for sure.

So what actually is forgiveness? Is forgiveness saying, well it doesn’t matter what happened to me? Probably not. Because it does matter. It happened and it is in your experience now and it will never be not in your experience because it has happened.

So how to come to terms with it in such a way that it does not become a shackle around your ankles that inhibits your ability to run with life? How to achieve this? One cannot turn back the clock and say it never happened. One cannot pull out the eraser and just simply erase it. One can try to forget it, or maybe one’s subconscious will do that for us if it’s too painful to remember, but what is is.

And yet, if we live in this state of non-forgiveness, it will “mess up” all the future moments in our lives. Every moment will be tainted with that non-forgiveness, and that isn’t so great either, is it? So we are going to make a little space here, before we continue on this subject, for you to allow any kind of indication that could be helpful to you in any forgiving that could make your life better.

So now we’re going to make some suggestions, and we will preface that by saying that these are simply suggestions that are probably applicable to someone in this room, and that may not be you. So you are going to be your own judge of what is helpful, and you can welcome the suggestions that may come that may be helpful to someone else who is in the room.

First of all, let’s look at what non-forgiveness does. It becomes an inhibitor. It inhibits our freedom. How can one be totally free if one is shackled to a sense of unforgiveness? It’s not possible. So if one desires freedom one must also be able to have forgiveness take place.

Notice how we phrased that. “To have a forgiveness take place.” We did not say make yourself forgive. You feel the difference? There is a difference when it happens or when you try to make yourself do it. Wouldn’t it be nice if it just happened? That would be preferable, wouldn’t it? Like you wanted to not have to water the garden and it rained. It just happened, and wasn’t that nice. So wouldn’t it be nice if forgiveness could be that way? Would that be your first choice? Much better than trying hard, doing something to try to make it happen.

So we are going to suggest something that could make that happen. It comes from embracing the sovereignty within yourself.

Now what do we mean by that? Embracing “the sovereignty” – which is the king in the story. You are given that. It is part of your birthright, to have your own inner sovereignty. You have it. You are in charge of it.

When you choose to take your sovereignty, you can choose that you want to be free.

And the other things will reorganize themselves around that. Events may come about, a change in feelings may come about, any number of things may come about. But you have the right. It is your birthright to make that choice. Most people haven’t been told that.

We’ve been told we are supposed to obey. Obey our parents, obey our teachers, obey the government, obey whoever… People are not handing out little certificates for our own sovereignty, are they? But in reality – and we are speaking from the greater reality. Remember, this physical existence is temporary – you have that sovereignty before, during, and after this physical existence.

The choices that you make here now are broadcast throughout the largeness of who and what you truly are, for you are much more than this physical experience.

So when you make a choice from the place of sovereignty within yourself, that is actually happening – it’s as though you had a solar system and the sun in the center of the solar system decides to flip around or something. It will have repercussions throughout the whole solar system. When you say, “This is who I am. This is me as a sovereign being, and I choose freedom.” And you say it, not to convince yourself, but because you just did [choose freedom] and now you’re letting your mind know what just happened.

Did you catch what we just said? There is a difference between deciding and saying, “Oh, I think I would like to be able to thus, and so I am going to tell myself…” (dot dot dot). This isn’t what we are saying.

You choose, and then your mind finds out what you just chose and repeats it to yourself. This is the place where your true power lies. Not only is it the place where you can affect a forgiveness, if it is needed for you, but there are many other things that you can do from that place as well.

This is a self-empowerment, in a very profound sense. This is not just being able to tell your boss what you need to tell him, this goes to a much more profound level. However, when you are doing this, you will be able to speak truth to power. You will be about to affect the changes that need to come about in your life. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

So, let’s just speak for a moment about how does one access this? It’s a four-letter word. WILL. It’s your will. We don’t mean like, “I will do it.” And we don’t mean like, “I’m going to try to impose my views on you.” This isn’t the kind of will we are talking about, and “willpower” is maybe not the best way to describe it because that can get into a mental concept, and we don’t mean mental here.

What we mean is deep in your core of who you are, and I would guess that every single person in this room has had at least one experience in their life – if not more – where they did know, decide, something that came from their core… Something like what Ruth did when she was walking away from her experience of Jesus and she decided, “I am going to be a musician.” That didn’t come from her mind. Her mind had already come up short. Her mind was not able to give her the goods that she needed, but her will – her will – did. And the result is that, of course, it did happen.

Learning the difference between when this is coming from the core of yourself and when it is coming from ideas that you put together and then try to impose on that, this is well worth your while to become aware of because the mind can be tricky, and it will want to convince you of things, because the mind’s basic job is to keep you safe. So it will do what it can to keep the status quo because that works. It may not be the best, but at least we know that works. So it will try to always bring you back into what is the comfort zone. Whether it is a positive comfort zone or not is a whole other question.

The will is different than that. But the will needs to be ignited. It can be like a flame that just comes down to a tiny little flicker. How do we ignite that flame? We are not going to tell you right away because we want you to think on this yourself first. How is that will ignited?

It’s got to be simple, right? Because these truths are simple. How is that ignited?

Our proposal – but you can use whatever came to you – is that it is through focus. When you bring your focus to that little flicker, it will immediately begin to grow. That is your great power that was given to you, your focus.

And the free will that we spoke of earlier is just one aspect of that. But when one is not in an embodied form, the truth that the focus is your power, this will be much, much more obvious to you. For in “the wider realms” (as we can maybe call them, this is not exactly true, but it is a metaphor that is good to use), this is how things come about, is through focus. You are where you focus to be, all this kind of thing.

We are drawing to a close with our monologue here and we will take just a few questions if you choose. The questions do not need to be about what we have already spoken about. We will see who would like to respond.
